As a Portfolio Manager within the Multi Asset Solutions Team, you will work across the global MAST organisation to deliver compelling outcome orientated solutions across channels (Institutional, Retirement and Retail). As we continue to evolve our solutions capabilities and solutions you will have opportunities to help shape the development of the business.
Position Responsibilities:
Design, Structuring and management of Derivative strategies and portfolios across asset classes including: Option strategies (income enhancement, protection etc.), QIS
Management of cross asset class portfolios and solutions across a range of client outcomes including benchmark relative, peer relative, risk managed and outcome orientated
Working closely with regional head of team to continually improve process, analytics and risk management
Ensure that portfolios are positioned and managed in accordance with global framework and asset allocation views
Proactively contribute to product development and innovation in close collaboration with key stakeholders including product , client relationship, and distribution teams
Focus of role:
Build and maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders
Identification and articulation of investment strategies and theses to enhance client investment outcomes
Part of PM team to deliver and manage Trend and QIS / Macro strategies
Focus quantitative, derivative and tactical positioning within portfolios, direct management as part of team for dynamic asset allocation portfolios across client channels
Working with regional head of team ensure alignment of resources and capabilities to deliver on strategic objectives
Contribute to global forums for portfolio trade ideas and positioning
Support the asset gathering process through the effective delivery of presentations, participation in conference calls, assisting in the development of investment-related marketing material.
Contribute to asset allocation research efforts including the analysis of asset classes and investment managers.
Direct regular portfolio review process by contributing to annual optimization studies, regular performance attribution and other portfolio analytic efforts, including ongoing competitive analysis.
Ensure effective alignment and risk management of portfolios to global framework
Required Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree required, Masters degree or higher preferred.
CFA designation desirable.
Minimum of ten years of investment experience.
Deep understanding of asset allocation techniques and concepts including portfolio construction disciplines
Extensive derivative knowledge essential
Strong client facing skills
Additional:
Coding skills to develop / maintain analytical tools and portfolio construction models (Python preferred)
Portfolio Management, optimization and construction techniques across multiple asset classes
Demonstrable track record in delivering excess returns via tactical positioning (outright, relative value etc.)
Derivatives to manage investment allocations and portfolio outcomes (including explicit risk managed strategies)
Understanding and experience across investment disciplines with track record in delivering superior investment returns via discretionary portfolio management
Advanced user of Microsoft Office, Bloomberg etc..
Knowledge of the investment marketplace across region and channels, industry trends, mutual funds etc.
Strong written and oral communication skills
