About the Role

Swift is a member-owned cooperative that provides the communications platform, products and services to connect more than 10,000 banking organizations, securities institutions and corporate customers in over 200 countries and territories. We have enabled our users to exchange automated, standardized financial information securely and reliably, thereby lowering costs, reducing operational risk and eliminating operational inefficiencies. We also bring the financial community together to work collaboratively to shape market practice, define standards and debate issues of mutual interest. Our headquarter is based in Belgium and currently there are 24 offices worldwide.

As part of the Order-to-Cash (OTC) stream within Finance Operations, we are actively working towards creating efficient working space, maintaining synergy across different teams and providing good customer experience. There are 3 teams under OTC: Customer Contracts team (Customers Ordering), Billing team (Invoicing) and Accounts Receivable (Payment).

In this context, we are offering a 6-month internship to be part of Finance Operations as part of an opportunity for professional growth and exposure to international environment.

What to expect:

• Exposure to the end-to-end process for Order-to-Cash.
• Support the Customer Contracts team in documentation/procedures improvement.
• Support the customer management data clean-up initiative.

What will make you successful?

• University student or graduate currently undergoing/completed a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting or related fields
• Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate with various global teams
• Self-motivated individual, able to work in routine but also proactively seek for process improvement
• Strong team player to accomplish results together and working cross-functionality
• Capability to manage own timing and complete task within a given time frame and good quality of work
