As a Revenue Strategy Program Manager (Concessions), you will provide analytical and statistical data to the team, develop concessions and revenue projections and benchmarking, and monitor financial results to ensure growth in the Airports Authority's concessions revenue, which includes Food/Beverage/Retail; Duty-Free; Advertisement; Non-Airline Airport Lounges; In-Flight Catering and other Revenue Services.GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Assesses the current state of the Airports Authority’s concessions business to make forecasts, identify the desired end state, and develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue goals.
Designs and develops financial models to evaluate concessions investment decisions and provide ad hoc analysis as requested by the senior team management.
Performs ongoing analyses of concessions performance per space and per concourse to identify and develop revenue opportunities, including enhancements to the customer experience and merchandising planning.
Collaborates with various departments to lead and develop annual revenue and expenses budget plans for concessions.
Provides concessions business intelligence expertise; acts as liaison to create and manage business intelligence system inputs, ensuring comprehensive integrated reports across all aspects of the concessions business.
Analyzes internal strengths and weaknesses and external opportunities and threats (SWOT), establishes long-term organizational objectives and strategies to achieve these objectives; develops supporting action plans and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, recommends allocation of resources to work toward objectives, and implements corrective actions, as appropriate.
Identifies and executes the strategic plan for revenue maximization and ancillary revenue generation; Researches, develops, and delivers business cases for new or expanded concession revenue opportunities and customer experience enhancements.
Recommends priorities based on analysis. Applies yield management demand forecasting techniques and develops and implements optimization algorithms to maximize revenue across all concession revenue programs.
Identifies and recommends strategies to address resistance and threats to the successful implementation of concession revenue initiatives.
Performs industry benchmarking and interprets benchmarking results in comparison with airports of similar size and scope. Conducts research, and identifies, and monitors new consumer trends.
Reviews passenger trends and customer survey feedback and evaluates these trends in developing and executing revenue initiatives at both airports.
Collaborates with other Offices, particularly the Office of Supply Chain Management, Office of Finance, Office of Technology, and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport to identify, develop, and implement new concession revenue initiatives.
Performs analyses and after-action reviews to assess program performance against objectives. Ensures a holistic approach to business development and assessment, including customer experience marketing strategies, and revenue growth.
Serves as the business and economic analyst for the In-Terminal Concessions team.
Develops and delivers key concessions management reports on a daily, monthly, and annual basis to underpin executive decision-making.
Identifies and delivers new performance measures, such as revenue per concept, per square foot, and per enplanement.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Six years of progressively responsible experience in business strategy formulation and revenue analysis. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Knowledge of business planning and operational process analysis as applied to business revenue and the ability to analyze programs/operations/services to help identify options for improvement, innovation, etc., in business revenue activities.
Skill in strategic business revenue planning for competitive advantage, to perform a full range of strategic business planning functions.
Skill in business intelligence, to create and manage business intelligence systems inputs, ensuring comprehensive integrated reports across all aspects of the business.
Knowledge of and ability to apply economics theory and analysis such as Revenue per Square Foot and Revenue per Enplaned Passenger analyses), including economic modeling and forecasting, to prepare analyses for strategic business revenue planning purposes, review economic impact studies, and develop business revenue policy.
Ability to perform mathematical and statistical analyses of financial, economic, managerial, and operational data to assist in planning and decision-making.
Ability to speak and write effectively, with emphasis on creating business strategy reports and presentations.
Skill in using a computer, modern office suite, accounting, and use of statistical analysis applications, and financial systems/software and ability to learn new software/systems.
Experience performing statistical analysis of large amounts of data utilizing advanced features of Microsoft Excel, or specialized statistical tools such as Statistical Software Suite (SAS), Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), or an equivalent tool.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in airport industry concessions.
Experience with analyzing and forecasting concession revenue.
EDUCATION
A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Accounting, Finance or a related field
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES REQUIRED
A state driver’s license in good standing.

May be subject to adverse weather conditions.
Wears a hard hat and other personal safety gear, as necessary.
