APAC Regional Security Manager:
General Description
Under the direction of the Global Safety & Security Director, the Regional Security Manager will oversee all security, crisis management, and health & safety programs for Sabre throughout one or more geographic regions. This person will work closely with contract security staff, health and safety vendors, government agencies, Regional Site Leadership, the Human Resources People Team, Corporate Legal, Facilities and other key stakeholders to ensure all government regulations, security and life safety best practices, risk controls and crisis management expectations are met.
Key Responsibilities
Provide oversight of the physical security and life safety activities throughout regions of responsibility
Management of all contracted security providers (+15 staff members)
Responsible for all protection of personnel and company property including remote offices.
Deliver, health, safety and security training on a routine basis to employee population
Serve as the regional coordinator for all crisis management and incident response teams
Work with internal workstreams to conduct investigations into inappropriate business conduct
Develop, implement, and maintain security procedures to meet required codes and regulations.
This role will select, develop and evaluate security contract personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Based upon global standards and strategy, this role will also administer the technical security infrastructure and systems across all sites within their region under the support and guidance of Technical Security Principle.
This role requires working across multiple time zones and being available to respond to emergency situations at all hours of the day. Must work well in a virtual environment and have outstanding communication and project management skills. Will have oversight of multiple budgets and possess a solid understanding of key concepts of vendor onboarding and management, accounts payable, invoice tracking and forecasting.
Education and experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Minimum 8-10 years related professional corporate security experience.
Advanced computer software skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Fluent in English language.
