WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As a Product Line Manager for EMEA Express Lane Apparel team, we are looking for someone who will be a leader within our product creation team and will bring a positive attitude, an ability to bring people together, and someone who can work with various groups across the organization to help move the team and the product forward.

We are looking for someone who can drive and manage all facets of the product creation process. This person will be responsible for creating consumer-led product briefs that will serve our EMEA marketplace needs. This person will also need to understand and leverage market trends, consumer behaviors & analytics to create insights to bring new products to our consumer.

This person will need to represent the consumer, have a passion for product, fashion, color, style and sneaker culture. They also need excellent communication & organization skills as well as be able to influence, collaborate, and create consensus. They will need to demonstrate strong analytical skills as well as a high level of attention to detail and the ability to create and drive an efficient process.  This individual should be able to work well in ambiguity, can evolve and refine the operating model they work within, and can lead a cross-functional team in the creation of product in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

Geo Express Lane develops & leverages responsive capabilities & consumer connection to create incremental product opportunities that keep Nike at the forefront of trend in EMEA.

As a Senior Product Line Manager for EMEA Express Lane (EMEA EL) APP, your main focus will be on our fastest creation track. You will be responsible for the driving and evolving our fastest product creation process from consumer insights to initial concept through to commercialization and production for assigned models to lead to on time delivery and development according to critical dates, product specification, sustainability, performance, and profitability goals. Serving the consumer at their pace.

You will put the consumer at the center of what we do, collect insights through consumer panels and interviews. Analyzing consumer and market trends, to create impactful product briefs, in addition to working with all product partners to ensure product excellence. You will present the culmination of this work to our cross functional partners to enable the full end to end process to come to life. You will be responsible for achieving revenue and margin goals. You will be responsible for coordinating and communicating the line or specific products to internal and external audiences.

A typical day/week includes ensuring the accuracy of information in key systems, sample management, participating and conducting meetings and providing clear communication to guide cross functional teams thru critical checkpoints. Besides the day to day, product strategy and process innovation are key element to serve our consumers at speed.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

This individual will lead product strategy, consumer work, and product creation processes for the overall product line in collaboration with the PLM Manager. You will work with all key stakeholders/functions that are involved in the consumer creation process – development, design, inline product teams, sourcing and costing, operations, planning. Additionally partnering with merchandising on marketplace positioning and geo insights/franchise health.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's level of thinking or a proven experience
  • An extensive product experience or related experience in merchandising, retail, product, and process management.
  • Strong EMEA consumer and marketplace knowledge
  • Proven track record of displaying strong business acumen & strategic decision making
  • Great product eye, and understanding of product creation process
  • Strong style sensibility and attention for details
  • Experience monitoring and understanding trends, and applying that understanding to product briefs is preferred
  • Proven track record of fostering a collaborative team environment
  • Great presentation and communication skills – experience presenting to Senior Leaders within Nike and External Partners
  • Enterprise leadership potential
  • Proven leadership authenticity and credibility with internal and external partners
  • Global or Geographic experience is preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
