Summary: As a Android or IOS testing/Mobile apps functional testing background engineer you will engage in a dynamic work environment where you will analyze, design, code, and test various components of application code across multiple clients. Your day will involve collaborating with team members to perform maintenance and enhancements, ensuring that the software meets the highest standards of quality and functionality. You will also be responsible for developing new features and addressing any issues that arise, contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for functional test case creation and execution of regression tests on Android. 2. Responsible for defect creation and tracking. 3. Responsible for working in an agile setup and close collaboration with Developers and cross-teams. Professional & Technical Skills: 1. Should have years (1-3 years) of functional testing background preferably Android or IOS testing/Mobile apps testing 2. Exceptionally good in creating test plan/test cases/test scenarios under varying circumstances 3. Ability to identify, document and report software defect within a Defect Management Tool 4. Working knowledge on JIRA or Rally or ALM 5. Good to have exposure on Android studio 6. Exposure to status reporting in daily status calls/emails 7. Good to have Agile working experience 8. Should have strong understanding of defective life cycle 9. An individual contributor with good communication and has worked with onshore teams earlier. 10. Should have good logical and analytic skills Additional Information: 1. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Infotainment & Telematics. 2. This position is based at our Bengaluru office. 3. A Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science or information science is required.
