A caregiver in this position works 8:00AM – 5:00PM.  
 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Lead and drive the Enterprise Transplant Center strategy, operations, quality, service line financial management and compliance.  

  • Set all key operational targets, quality and safety metrics and patient experience targets. 

  • Ensure achievement of stated goals and meet regulatory requirements.  

  • Work collaboratively with executive leadership across the organization to meet strategic objectives. 

  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of patient-focused programs designed to support the delivery of the highest quality of transplant care. 

  • Work with various program leaders to ensure resources are available to support the success of each program. 

  • Lead and facilitate collaboration and consistency with metrics that support regulatory standards.  

  • Drive process improvement opportunities across service lines and partners to translate into realized efficiencies.  

  • Monitor national and international trends and forecast to develop priorities aimed toward growth objectives. 

  • Assure compliance with regulatory agencies such as Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) and The Joint Commission (TJC). 

  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to proactively build new programs, expand current programs and enhance the reputation and quality of transplant services locally, nationally and internationally.

  • Collaborate with Nursing to achieve safety, quality and patient experience standards for transplant services. 

  • Be responsible for service line financial management and operational performance regarding patients served and cost management under the Transplant Center.  

  • Adhere to the Corporate Compliance Program and expectations including proper billing. 

  • Enhance the research mission by supporting clinical infrastructure conducive to scientific studies and working closely with Nursing Leadership. 

  • Create an effective environment where caregivers can realize their full potential to meet clinical and business challenges.  

  • Be responsible for the development of a strong leadership team to manage operations. 

  • Coach, mentor, and provide ongoing performance feedback. 


Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, nursing or a related field. 

  • 10 years of related experience including five years of management experience. 

  • Able to work with diverse stakeholders, including patients, families, physicians, nurses, staff and external partners.  

  • Demonstrated knowledge of transplant regulations, standards and best practices.  


Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: 

  • Master’s degree. This may substitute two years of the required experience.  

  • Experience in a large, complex transplant service or clinical operations.  

  • Certification in transplant administration or a related field.
