Job Purpose/Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team in Frankfurt, Germany  as a ‘Global Solution Sales Manager ’. The Global Solution Sales Manager role sits within Citi Services and provides a unique opportunity to manage a portfolio of large corporate clients headquarter in Germany . The role holder will have a demonstrated excellence in the origination of complex corporate digital solutions across payments, liquidity management, card, E-commerce and working capital solutions, requiring solid understanding of corporate business and treasury organizational models. With the technological agenda of the payment industry and the gradual adoption of direct-to-consumer strategies, a good understanding of the benefits of emerging digital solutions is essential.

This Role is a “Controlled Function” Role as defined by the Central Bank of Ireland Reform Act 2010 and Principal Regulations 2011, and amending Regulations 2014, 2015.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the sales origination, pipeline development, customer revenue growth of a portfolio of assigned Corporate clients in Germany
• Increase customer penetration and cross-sell of Services products and solutions across a 90+ country network with existing and new clients, leveraging relevant data driven sales tools and insights to drive origination.
• Become a ‘Trusted Advisor’ to our corporate clients for complex payment, liquidity and working capital solutions, developing differentiated client dialogue across relevant client buying centers, in partnership with product, industry and specialist sales partners.
• Support client experience initiatives, working in close partnership with relevant banking, servicing and client success teams.
• Develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including banking teams to define client priorities, develop robust client account plans and ensure coordinated and sustained client calling routines.
• Drive sustained client engagement and support a range of marketing initiatives in delivering a rich thought leadership agenda
• Work with control functions as and when required, such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure.

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Experience, skills and capabilities

• Possesses deep knowledge of Payments,  Cash Management and Working Capital Solutions
• Proven track record in originating and selling cash management, trade, and  technology-based solutions with large, complex corporate treasury and client buying organizations.
• Experience working with large client relationships from a transactional banking perspective.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication, demonstrating fluency in English and German.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to deal internally and externally with clients.
• Bachelor’s/University degree
