Job Description
Allstate is seeking a User Experience Designer Lead Consultant to join its team. This leadership role is responsible for applying expertise in human capabilities, technology, and industry best practices to design user interfaces for complex and strategic initiatives. The User Experience Designer Lead Consultant will foster strong cross-functional collaboration and interpersonal relationships, driving business outcomes to benefit Allstate customers.
This position includes managing a team of two and focuses on UI/UX for direct-to-consumer products such as member portals and mobile applications. It offers an exciting opportunity within a fast-paced environment.
Determines and coordinates work priorities and timelines within the program area, and communicates delivery dates.
Models the use of human-centered design approaches to frame problems, uncover patterns, identify opportunities, and visualize concepts.
Clearly articulates a UX point of view, considering perspectives of all stakeholders, and aligns the team on the path forward.
Contributes to Allstate's business and UX strategy through deliverables such as wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, and prototypes, utilizing industry-standard software including Figma, Mural, Sketch, and Adobe Suite.
Possesses in-depth knowledge of User Experience (UX), Customer Experience (CX), and Technical standards, and applies them to achieve business results while staying updated with industry trends.
Develops innovative solutions and systems to support strategic business objectives, utilizing human-centered design methods.
Oversees the UX design process across multidisciplinary teams, educating UX designers on effective collaboration with other disciplines.
Utilizes in-depth business knowledge to enhance operations across the enterprise.
Bachelor’s degree (4-year), preferred.
Five or more years of relevant experience, preferred.
People management experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in place of the specified requirements.

Compensation offered for this role is 98,100.00 - 167,850.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
