Job Description:

Parsons Corporation has an immediate opening for a Principal Technical Consultant in our construction group. The ideal candidate will be a SME (Subject Matter Expert) in the surveying and geometric aspects of the heavy construction industry.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provide support in the development of a formwork traveler for light rail transit system base
• Review dimensional details of traveler for compatibility with track geometric parameters
• Advise on survey methods to control positioning of traveler and its components
• Review track geometric specifications to ensure that traveler and survey are capable of achieving those specifications
• Develop software as needed to compute parameters required for adjustment of traveler
• Leads or consults on the execution of these advanced solution strategies
• Works with company leadership and Project Managers to deliver professional technical services and solutions

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 20+ years extensive experience as a technical consultant in a related industry, including supervisory experience
• Experience presenting information/assessments to senior personnel

Salary Range: $74.81 - $134.66
