About Your Role

As an Executive Recruiter, Talent Acquisition at Dollar Tree’s corporate office, you will lead full-cycle executive and senior-level recruiting efforts across a variety of corporate functions. You will partner closely with senior leadership, HR Business Partners, and hiring executives to develop proactive talent strategies, build executive pipelines, and deliver a best-in-class candidate experience. This role requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, business acumen, and the ability to influence stakeholders throughout the hiring process.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end executive recruiting efforts for Vice President, Senior Director, Director, and other critical leadership-level positions across the organization.
  • Partner with senior leaders and hiring managers to understand organizational needs, talent gaps, succession planning priorities, and long-term workforce strategies.
  • Conduct intake meetings to align on search strategy, candidate profile, organizational structure, compensation considerations, and interview process expectations.
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, talent mapping, market research, and executive search methodologies.
  • Build and maintain strong pipelines of executive talent across key functional areas including Operations, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, IT, and Store Support Center functions.
  • Provide thoughtful candidate assessments and market insights to hiring leaders, including competitive intelligence, compensation trends, and talent availability.
  • Manage confidential and highly sensitive searches with professionalism and discretion.
  • Drive a high-touch candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle, including interview preparation, offer negotiations, relocation discussions, and onboarding coordination.
  • Partner closely with Total Rewards, HR leadership, and business leaders on executive compensation alignment and offer development.
  • Facilitate structured interview processes and debrief discussions to support effective and timely hiring decisions.
  • Ensure recruiting processes are compliant, consistent, and aligned with company policies and employment regulations.
  • Track recruiting activity, search progress, and hiring metrics within Workday and other recruiting tools.
  • Support employer branding and executive talent attraction initiatives through networking, market engagement, and strategic partnerships.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, candidate experience, and executive hiring effectiveness.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive recruiting experience, including significant experience supporting executive and senior-level searches.
  • Experience recruiting within large, fast-paced corporate, retail, supply chain, consumer products, or Fortune 500 environments preferred.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex searches across multiple business functions.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to build credibility and influence senior leadership.
  • Experience conducting proactive sourcing and talent mapping for hard-to-fill leadership roles.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies, preferably Workday Recruiting and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple searches and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for executive recruiting activities and onsite interviews.
