Group Summary:

Position Summary:

• Responsible for Coordinating with Tooling on all required Incoming & outgoing shipment needs .
• Request  quotations for all  outgoing shipments & create purchase requisitions for approval
• Responsible for creation of accurate delivery notes / commercial invoices & liaising with selected carriers  to ensure  accurate & on time deliveries.                   
• Expediting deliveries  & updating  internal departments                                                                                                           
• Accurate checking of delivered materials & receipting  of  all deliveries on CMS.                                                           
• Oversee  consumable stores- setting min / max levels &  re  stock via purchase requisition as needed                
• Loading / Unloading  transports  in compliance  with all H&S requirements                                                                   
• Movement of all deliveries  from stores area to  point of use, as needed .                                                           

Environmental, Health & Safety Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all Autolaunch's health, safety and environmental policies.

• Abide by and promote all safety and non-safety plant rules and regulations.

• Report any defects, hazards and non-compliance items to the department leadhand(s)/supervisor(s)/manager(s).

• Report any incident/accident to a first aider/ leadhand / supervisor/manager.

• Abide by the operating procedures/work instructions/maintenance practices and procedures of any equipment or machinery used.

• Wear personal protective equipment as provided by Autolaunch.

• Responsible for pre-operation inspections of respective equipment, machinery and vehicles so as to ensure proper and safe operation (Preventative Maintenance Checklist).

• Responsibility to keep work area clean and adhere to housekeeping/5S standards.

• Participate and assist in any investigation where required.

Key Qualifications & Requirements:

• Forklift Licence                                 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills                                                                                                                        
• Experience in a similar role an advantage                                                                                                                                 
• Demonstrate organisational skills & accurate record keeping                                                                  
• Competent  with Microsoft Word and Excel. CMS experience an advantage .
