Principal Duties

Working closely with our clients, Consulting professionals design, build and implement strategies that can help enhance business performance. They develop specialized expertise—strategic, industry, functional, technical—in a diverse project environment that offers multiple opportunities for career growth.

Here are just a few of your day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Transformation Office (TO) practitioners will shape, mobilize and execute end to end transformation journey with our clients with a clear focus on vision, an integrated approach and a focus on value

  • TO professionals operate at the intersection of business and technology and are required to  act as the glue between program stakeholders (internal and external) to keep the course and maximize value realization

  • Use their deep industry and technology competence e.g., in Cloud, ERP, Platforms, Data or Security to build rapport equally with senior and deeply skilled stakeholders in both business and technology functions and facilitate quick and effective decision making

  • Work with the senior client stakeholders to understand transformation vision, and conduct an initial assessment to identify key pillars for transformation.

  • Create transformation business case and socialize with clients for their approval / iterations

  • Formulate transformation roadmap basis various dependencies and other ongoing initiatives

  • Manage multi-disciplinary teams to shape, sell, communicate and implement large scale programs

  • Program management oriented along value realization and multiple dimensions (e.g., financial, sustainability)

  • Leverage industry knowledge to , guide our clients towards a well-defined target operating model while effectively managing talent and change management requirements at the overall programme level

  • Mentor and develop our people

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • MBA Degree from Tier-1 College (Preferable)

Experience:

  • 10-12+ years large scale consulting experience and managing teams in a consulting environment or as part of a firm’s internal strategy/transformation capability

  • 10+ years of experience participating or leading a part of  significant digital transformation program(s) – preferably in  ERP, Cloud, Platforms, Interactive, New IT and other Technology landscapes

  • Experience in setting up and driving a Project Management/ Value Realization Office /Transformation Management Office for own organization or for clients

  • 8 - 10+ years of experience leading or managing teams effectively including planning/structuring analytical work, facilitating team workshops, and developing recommendations

  • Exposure to and understanding of IT Strategy & Scrum/Agile transformation methodology

  • Experience in working with senior client stakeholders to draft the north star vision for transformation

  • A strong understanding of industry operations and dynamics through experience in the following industries is preferred:  Financial Services, Retail, consumer goods, Telecommunications, Life Sciences, Transportation, Hospitality, Automotive/Industrial, Mining and Resources

Key Competencies and Skills:

  • Strong desire to work in technology-driven business transformation

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders to architect, mobilize, and launch delivery constructs to execute a Transformation Journey with our clients

  • Apply a cross-enterprise perspective spanning across both business and technology stakeholders, with ability to work through ambiguity to pursue a consistent transformation vision as well as understand, articulate and resolve key dependencies. Apply expertise in strategic analysis, business architecture, process architecture, organizational change management, value analysis program/project management and stakeholder management

  • Understand end-to-end transformation and its strategic impact, and have a broad understanding of the issues  a C-suite member can encounter, and the technology and non-technology levers to reach the desired state. Maintain a broad understanding of enterprise delivery models (agile, scaled agile, predictive) and insights into how cultural, organizational, and solution trends impact these models

  • Manage across transformation management domains for a workstream (e.g. scope, cost, schedule, etc.)

  • Facilitate design thinking and/or customer journey workshops to support development of a transformation roadmap and/or strategy

  • Help define the value of a transformation and how to measure and track success

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and client relationships

  • Proven track record in working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment with effective consulting skills, especially leading teams in a onshore-offshore mode, with flexibility to work across time-zones

  • Proven track record to quickly understand the key value drivers of a business, how they impact the scope and approach of the engagement

  • Demonstrated ability to develop younger talent and build a high performing team
