What You Will Achieve
Your financial skills will help in examining, verifying and analyzing business records and transactions concerning financial status and operating procedures based on historical costs. You will also analyze the costs of operations and perform traditional general accounting functions. You will review and analyze credit limits, monitor and control cash flows and procedures including domestic and international banking, expenses, debt and investments. You will direct and coordinate between company, stockholders and financial institutions.
As a Senior Associate, your knowledge and skills will contribute towards the goals and objectives of the team. Your focus and ability to meet team targets will help in completing critical deliverables. Your innovative use of communication tools and techniques will facilitate in explaining difficult issues and establishing consensus between teams.

How You Will Achieve It
- Provide data analytics to support the entire audit cycle, including planning, testing of controls, reporting and issue verification.
- Responsible for being knowledgeable of and accessing various Pfizer Digital systems to extract and collect financial and other data needed for audit testing.
- Review and evaluate compliance with Pfizer's global policies to help ensure Pfizer colleagues worldwide are interacting in an appropriate manner with healthcare professionals.
- Prepare formal written reports setting forth recommendations for local, division and corporate management to strengthen and improve operations, as well as identify cost or efficiency savings.
- Review and evaluate compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
- Actively participate on departmental and/or cross-functional teams addressing internal and external issues that support the department's Strategic Business Framework.
- Prepare financial and accounting analysis completely and accurately.
- Lead regional projects and other initiatives in addition to existing role and responsibility.
- Assist process owners in the order-to-cash, invoice-to-pay and record-to-report cycles.
- Help in the process owners' preparation for the Inventory and Fixed Assets Center of Excellence, Foreign Corruption Policy Act Center of Excellence, and Authorized Signature Level Coordination Center of Excellence.
- Assist in updating controls-related documentation for newly migrated processes and harmonization of overall controls documentation.
- Participate in special investigations as necessary.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years’ experience
- Demonstrated experience in position of Internal Audit, Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance or Process Consulting
- Strong oral and written communication skills, enabling effective communication with all levels of management
- Knowledge of MS Office, including advanced Excel skills
Nice-to-Have
- Master's degree
- Relevant pharmaceutical experience
- Forensic skills and/or experience with Pharmaceutical company
- Information Technology exposure
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills and the ability to integrate across multiple and varied business areas
- Exhibits quality mindset, with knowledge of business process best practices
- Outstanding collaboration and influencing skills, along with being a good listener and assimilator of ideas and perspectives
