Job Title:  Senior Full Stack Engineer

Agile DB/Backend Lead Developer with exposure to Capital Markets domain.

The Purpose of This Role

The Alternate Investment Team, within Fidelity Institutional Technology (FIT), is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join the team to help build and maintain high quality product and solutions to enable Alternate Investment business. We are looking for a person who has hands-on software engineering experience building cloud-based systems using modern, scalable, resilient, Cloud native architectures (Containers and Serverless). Monitors and maintains the operational stability of services within the Cloud. Able to navigate and mange technical complexities while developing secure and scalable solutions for our customers.

The Value You Deliver

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information System, or a related field.

• 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Oracle pl/sql developer.

• Strong RDBMS skills – SQL querying, writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, user privileges, object privileges, etc.

• Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and design skills with a desire to continually learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.

• Has done performance tuning of stored procedures and queries.

• nows ETL processes to load large volumes of data at speed, e.g. SQL Loader, etc.

• Has experience in Linux environment and knows basic Unix commands.

• Experience in database modeling.

• Knowledge of cloud database services like Amazon RDS and Amazon S3.
