Job Summary:

The Technical Project Manager has primary responsibility for defining, planning, tracking and managing technology projects, identifying key resources and providing the direction they require to meet project objectives. The Technical Project Manager utilizes necessary resources and skills to produce project deliverables within agreed cost, timescale, and quality parameters. The Technical Project Manager plays a role in project planning, project monitoring and control, and providing advice and guidance.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Organizes the work into manageable work packages or phases and determines an effective approach to completing the work. * Develops estimates for effort, budget and schedule. * Develops a project plan that documents clear priorities among project activities. * Communicates a clear vision of the project's objectives and motivates the project team to achieve them. Coordinates the activities of SDLC teams to meet project milestones * Analyzes the actual performance against the plan and make adjustments consistent with plan objectives. * Provides tracking and reporting of progress against projected schedules. * Actively manages budget tracking and forecasting. * Proactively manages change to baselined scope, schedule, and cost variables; communicating impacts and facilitating decisions. * Resolves issues that impact the project in a timely, effective manner. Communicates relevant project information to stakeholders and teams * Analyzes risks, establishes contingency plans, and identifies trigger events and responsibility for initiating mitigating action * Coordinates with physician groups and hospital administration * Creates executive demo materials Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all WellStar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.

Required Minimum Education:

Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Communication, Healthcare Management, or another relevant field BS or BA degree preferred Advanced degree in industry related subject

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):

All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

    Additional License(s) and Certification(s):

    Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification Upon Hire Preferred and PMP certification or equivalent Upon Hire Preferred

    Required Minimum Experience:

    Minimum 2 years of professional work experience is acceptable in lieu of formal degree. Required and Minimum 3 years of professional experience with SDLC Required and Professional experience in project management or product management Required and Working experience managing multiple technology projects Required and Working experience of and competency in project management processes, including planning tasks and allocating resources, risk management, issues management, time management, and financial management Required and Experience operating within an Agile environment (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) Required and Experience with executive presentations and demos Required and Experience with EMR (e.g. Epic) Preferred and Experience with Telehealth Preferred and Experience with FHIR and HL7 Preferred

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong collaboration skills Strong grasp of best practices in the digital healthcare space
