Job Description​

The Opportunity: 

Saint Luke’s Allen County Regional Hospital in Iola, KS is seeking an Ultrasound Assistant to provide support with ultrasound exams. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, assisting the team with throughput. You will be an extension of and work under the supervision of Ultrasound Technologists, adding an additional level of support that will ensure our vision, “The best place to get care. The best place to give care.” is maintained.

Shift Details: 

  • PRN

The Work: 

  • Assists in performing a variety of Ultrasound exams, including, but not limited to, Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, Vein Mapping, Pediatric (Will vary by location)                                            
  • Assists in performing Ultrasound Guided procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, FNA, and biopsies(Will vary by location and shift)
