We're looking for a QA Automation Engineer. You will be a part of a growing team and will work closely with the development and product management teams innovating to enhance our existing software and develop new products. You will collaborate closely with Software Developers, Quality Assurance Engineers, and DevOps professionals to design and implement automated testing frameworks, create robust test suites, and execute test cases on the Azure Cloud Platform. What you will do: 

  • Collaborate across functions with product managers, software architects, developers, and manual testers, contributing to release planning and software design. 

  • Have technical responsibility for the automation testing strategy and the creation, design, and development of test automation frameworks. 

  • Create test strategies, formulating and automating test case scenarios. 

  • Create and develop tooling to assist manual and automated testing. 

  • Build and run tests as part of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure Devops pipelines 

  • Create test automation dashboards, reporting on metrics to drive release quality and continuous improvements. 

  

What you will need: 

  • Proven experience in test automation, test tooling, and infrastructure for test automation (typically 5+ years). 

  • Good understanding of software development principles and Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience in at least one common programming language (Java, Python or JavaScript) 

  • Expert knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools. 

  • Understanding of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies, including their application in building and testing robust, high-quality software. 

  • Experience in configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing workflows, along with proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git). 

  • Organizational and time management skills to work across projects, proactively managing competing priorities. 

  • Excellent communication skills to work in a collaborative environment and participate in stakeholder meetings. 

  • Familiarity with load, stress, or performance testing tools and methodologies is a plus like K6 

  • An understanding of Microsoft Azure & Amazon Web Services is a plus.
