Reporting to the Lab Manager, your primary role will be the processing and ordering of lenses with potential to progress to all facets of the business. This is a diverse role which will touch many facets of our business, requiring someone who can comfortably transition between tasks with a ‘can do’ attitude is essential.  The successful applicant will find themselves an integral member of our professional team.

Key responsibilities of this role will include, but not limited to:

• Receiving and dispatching of daily orders
• Inputting of data including editing of lens orders in our business management system
• Shape tracing of all styles of spectacle frames
• Process incoming match up orders
• Picking of lenses in preparation for Cut Edge and Fit or dispatch
• Association of incoming lenses to frames post lens manufacture
• Ability to communicate and work within a team environment to meet customer needs and deadlines, with a can-do attitude
• Work in partnership with Branch Manager and team members to meet company targets

The key skills required for this role include:

• 1-2 years working experience in a team environment preferable but not essential
• Responsible for providing a consistent quality product which can be delivered to the customer within time frames, meeting all quality standards
• Willingness to learn new skills, ability to cross train into various related tasks and work well and contribute to a team environment
• Strong work ethic
• Process driven individual who is organized, has attention to detail, excellent administration and time keeping skills, willingness to be flexible with working hours, ability to prioritise and be flexible often dealing with ad-hoc queries from customers
• Proficient computer skills
