Job Summary
We are looking for a select individual to join the team managing the worldwide oversight of microprocessor strategy and execution. This role is responsible for leading microprocessor commodity management activities and requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Participating on cross-functional and cross-regional teams, this role works closely with Supply Chain, Planning, and Contracts teams on strategy formulation to optimize supply chain management and execution. Aligned with the organization’s vision, this role contributes to the development and execution of commodity-specific strategies to achieve shared goals. The role utilizes forecasts, consumption data, and financial modeling to monitor Supplier performance and ensure Contract deliverables are being met.


Responsibilities
• Participates on cross-functional teams leading specific strategic procurement processes and execution throughout the component lifecycle, from New Product Introduction to End of Life .

• Utilizes supply chain forecasting tools and financial modeling to manage supply chain activities and ensure budgets and business requirements are being met.

• Engages frequently with the Supplier and monitors their performance to ensure standards are consistently achieved for contract deliverables and material management.

• Identifies risk areas or potential material shortages using cause and effect thinking, and executes risk mitigation, business continuity, cost management and operations strategies.

• Proficient in the oversight and loading of CCS & S4 costing systems. Ensures data is accurate and provides timely problem resolution on dataflow issues.

• Liaises with stakeholders to understand business priorities and proactively translates requirements into actionable plans.

• Facilitates the cross-regional flow of information and shared strategies to stay aligned globally.

• Initiates and champions best practices of procurement strategy throughout the supply chain, actively sharing insights and best practices globally, and collaborating with senior management to implement them within the organization.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in procurement, supply chain, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.

The base pay range for this role is $64,250 - $98,950 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
