The Accounts Payable Accountant role would be an on-site opportunity based out of Rayong Thailand at our service facility there. The role is responsible a wide range of areas such as overseeing the accounts payable process and supplier relations, assisting with month end close along with reconciliation and audit support.
Work You’ll Do:
Responsible for processing daily and monthly invoicing, debit/credit notes and matching POs for approval
Perform month-end AP close and ensure that the project cost the related operating costs, are accurately accounted for.
Prepare online payment to suppliers and intercompany suppliers.
Perform month end bank reconciliation, intercompany reconciliation, and confirmation.
Prepared withholding Tax and VAT returns
Maintain Fixed Assets listing.
Assist in internal and external audit and income tax queries.
Partner with HQ treasury department for payment and funds transfer
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3 - 5 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
Proficient in data entry and management
Knowledge of general accounting procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Knowledge of any accounting software will be an added advantage
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Be able to demonstrate attention to details and good-record-keeping
