Overall Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts and frameworks using Playwright and other tools
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to understand testing requirements
- Develop test cases and automate end-to-end test scenarios
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify regressions and defects
- Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
- Maintain and improve existing automation frameworks and scripts
- Track, report, and verify bug fixes and improvements
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of testing processes and test cases
- Stay updated on latest automation tools and best practices
Software Requirements:
- Strong experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Experience with Playwright automation tool
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Knowledge of test management tools like JIRA, TestRail
- Understanding of API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Knowledge of Linux commands and shell scripting is a plus
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized testing environments (optional)

- Test Frameworks: TestNG, JUnit, Mocha, Jest (depending on stack)
- API Testing: RestAssured, Postman, SoapUI

- Containers & Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes (optional)
- Test Management & Bug Tracking: JIRA, TestRail
Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of dedicated experience in QA Automation with a focus on Playwright or similar tools
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Developing and maintaining automation scripts for UI and API testing
- Reviewing testing requirements and designing automation strategies
- Executing automated test suites and analyzing results
- Integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Debugging and troubleshooting automation failures
- Collaborating with developers and QA team members to reproduce and resolve issues
- Updating existing frameworks and creating new reusable components
- Creating detailed reports on test execution and defects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience with Playwright and other automation tools
- Relevant certifications in testing automation or related fields are a plus
