Primary Function

The REO Eviction Specialist I is responsible for assigning a portfolio of foreclosed residential properties nationwide to approved attorney firms. They assist in the activities that result in vacancy such as evictions. The REO Eviction Specialist I will handle a total portfolio of 200 to 300 occupied assets.

Principal Duties

  • The ability to handle work in a fast-paced environment and be able to meet or exceed deadlines.
  • Ensuring our clients’ properties are handled with timeliness and accuracy.
  • Build excellent relationships with clients and keep them informed of property progress.
  • Monitor properties from acquisition to possession.
  • Assign occupied properties to the approved Eviction Attorney
  • Monitor attorney firm performance.
  • Work with listing agents to determine appropriate Cash for Keys amounts.
  • Monitor portfolio for strict adherence to state eviction timelines.
  • Review property photos to determine if personal property requires an eviction.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience Requirements  

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • 1-year real estate, legal, or mortgage loan servicing experience, required.

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements 

  • Knowledge of multi state eviction rules and procedures a plus
  • Notary considered a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Prioritize tasks with a sense of urgency.
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Extended hours and overtime when needed.
