Key accountabilities

• Analyse software requirements to plan appropriate tests
• Plan tests, defining scenarios, parameters and acceptance criteria for software validation
• Write and execute Tests
• Highlight any software defects
• Collaborate with developers to analyse problems and direct resolution
• Coordinate, maintain and evolve automatic test batteries and test automation methods, increasing requirements coverage
• Analyse and address Incidents that arrive from customers

Requirements:

• Knowledge of SQL databases, to verify that the data is correctly managed by the software
• Knowledge of test methodologies
• Skills in testing API interfaces and web services, using tools such as Postman
• Knowledge of agile testing and scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of test management tools such as qtest, X-Ray
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Tosca or similar
• Basic knowledge of the DevOps methodology, in particular Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD)
• Autonomy in using the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, X-Ray)
• Curiosity and propensity for research to increase one's skills
• Excellent communication and relationship skills with teams and external figures (stakeholders, end customers, etc.)
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, proactivity and autonomy within the team
• Attention to detail and orientation towards excellence
• Excellent knowledge of the English language (reference QCER B2)

Moreover:

• Experience in cross-functional testing (performance, security, accessibility, disaster recovery, etc.)
• Experience using cloud test farms offered by AWS
• Internationally recognized software quality/testing certification (e.g. ISTQB);
• Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other preparatory qualification for software design and development.
