The Oracle SCM (Supply Chain Management) Director is responsible for leadership in designing and overseeing the end-to-end architecture of Oracle Cloud SCM solutions. This role ensures alignment between business objectives, functional design, and technical implementation across supply chain processes, including Procurement, Order Management, Manufacturing, Inventory, Planning, and Logistics.

What You’ll Do

  • Solution Design & Architecture

    • Define the overall architecture for Oracle Cloud SCM modules and their integration with Finance, Projects, and external systems.

    • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing Oracle Cloud SCM solutions.

    • Design end-to-end supply chain process flows (Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Plan-to-Produce, etc.).

    • Ensure adherence to Oracle best practices and cloud architecture standards.

  • Functional Leadership

    • Ability to establish credibility in the eyes of senior-level, financially literate client executives on the basis of expertise, maturity, and professionalism

    • Lead SCM design workshops with business stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.

    • Develop functional solution documents, configuration strategies, and data migration approaches.

    • Provide guidance on module interdependencies and cross-functional impacts.

  • Technical Integration

    • Collaborate with technical teams on integrations (via OIC, REST APIs, or middleware) between Oracle Cloud SCM and legacy/third-party applications.

    • Oversee master data management, interface design, and performance optimization.

    • Support data conversion and validation during implementation.

  • Project Delivery

    • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) throughout the implementation lifecycle—design, build, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

    • Mentor functional consultants and coordinate with technical developers.

    • Contribute to fit-gap analysis, solution validation, and change control processes.

  • Governance & Continuous Improvement

    • Define architectural standards and documentation for SCM solutions.

    • Evaluate and recommend Oracle Cloud SCM enhancements, patches, and upgrades.

    • Drive continuous improvement through automation and process optimization.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a field related to this position or equivalent work experience

  • 8-10+ years of experience in Oracle SCM applications.

  • Deep functional expertise in three or more modules: Procurement, Order Management, Manufacturing, Inventory, Planning, Maintenance, or Logistics.

  • Successfully led 4+ end-to-end SCM architectures in Oracle Cloud.

  • Strong understanding of integration patterns (OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, EDI, etc.).

  • Experience leading offshore teams.

  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and data migration tools (FBDI, ADFdi, OTBI).

  • Business development and presales experience.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, documentation, and client-facing skills

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle Cloud SCM Certification(s)

  • Experience in multi-pillar Oracle Cloud implementations (SCM + Finance/Projects)

  • Background in manufacturing, distribution, or retail industries

  • Experience with Agile or hybrid implementation methodologies

The estimated base salary for this job is $175,000 - $225,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $218,750 - $303,750.  The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
