As F&B As a Senior Merch Analyst for F&B Buying, you will play a crucial role in supporting our buying team by managing key processes and providing essential insights into business operations. You will be accountable for a business unit, in addition to playing a critical role in setting up, training, and guiding a team of Lead Merch Specialists and Merch Analysts at TII to succeed in their roles and support successful work management and expansion at TII.  Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Point of Contact and Collaboration

  • Serve as the main point of contact between the working team (including TII Merch Specialists, Analysts, MPLS ABs, and SMSs) and the leadership team to facilitate theimplementation of processes across multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand the business processes and operations and help manage drive the with accountability and ownership.

Operations

  • Identify, develop, and assess capability transfers in Merch operations, focusing on optimizing processes like digital purchasability, end-of-life management, and vendor income reporting.
  • Identify efficient solutions to business challenges and troubleshoot to reduce risks to critical deliverables.
  • Experience in building and analyzing greenfield cards to track key executional KPIs, strong understanding of performance metrics and ability to develop tools for operational insights
  • Drive operational rigor by utilizing key performance metrics, including weekly and monthly reporting and project progress and closure updates.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of support requests within SLA to improve store and guest experiences.

Training and Project Management

  • Simplify and train your project team on business strategies and processes to ensure high-quality results.
  • Manage key business objectives and milestones in collaboration with Merch Ops team.

Team Development

  • Take responsibility for handling high-visibility requests with quick turnaround times.
  • Act as a subject matter expert by mentoring and training new hires on business strategy, processes, and cross-functional team engagement.
  • Lead the process using project management principles, including planning, resource allocation, risk management, and communication.
  • Maintain knowledge management by regularly updating division/category job journals, process training, project plans, and execution methodologies.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation in both current and new areas.
  • Foster an inclusive and collaborative team environment focused on collective goals.

REPORTING/WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Reports to Sr. Manager, FB at TII and dotted line reporting to Mpls Buying director and Mpls Buying Operations Director. Partners with broad Cross functional team and leaders to support one or more divisions.
  • Develop and maintain working relationship with Buyers, Vendors and supporting teams to cohesively work towards achieving the business mission and goals

ABOUT YOU

  • Graduate or MBA with 8+ years merchandising experience preferred 
  • Advanced project management skills ; can manage tight deadlines 
  • Strong logical thinking & analytical reasoning abilities 
  • Structure problem solving skills (such as Lean/ Six Sigma) with application experience of process improvement tools & techniques 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively with teams who demonstrates strong initiative and is able to collaborate across various supporting teams.
  • Peer mentoring & training skills
  • Good delegation and influencing skill
  • Proficiency in excel and good knowledge of other MS Office tools like Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Self-starter with strong analytical, decision-making, and organization skills. Must be able to prioritize effectively 
  • A performance-driven individual with ability to navigate through ambiguous situations and guide the team
  • Comfortable taking risks, working through change and supporting creative chances
