Who you are:

As a Consumer Residential Lending Associate, you are our key support, by assisting lenders in accepting loan applications and ensuring they are processed, closed, and funded. You’ll be responsible for assisting customers with questions and issues involving loans, payments, and maintenance. You’ll use your analytical skills, inquisitive mind, and detail-orientated approach to review loan documentation prior to closing and making appropriate parties aware of deficiencies and or problems. More than that, this role is about building relationships and doing so with integrity, caring, and excellence in mind.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist customers with questions and issues involving loans, payments, maintenance, etc
  • Review loan documentation prior to closing and make appropriate parties aware of deficiencies and/or problems
  • Determine available closing dates in accordance with loan guidelines and schedule closing with customers; assist in the actual closing as requested
  • Communicate with customers, referral sources, Consumer Credit Approval, title companies, and contractors to obtain all documentation necessary for completing loans transactions
  • Work with other departments to ensure that all loans are closed and processed efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure compliance with Bank policy and Federal/State laws and regulations applicable to this area
  • Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes

What you’ll need:

  • Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good organizational skills

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • 5 years banking experience or 2 years direct consumer loan experience
  • Basic knowledge of real estate loan transactions for purchase, home equity, and home improvement loans
