Position Summary
The Senior Manager - Dental & Vision Distribution Partnerships role is responsible for developing and executing national distribution strategies that accelerate growth across the Small Group and Individual lines of business. this leader will manage key relationships with General Agencies (GAs), broker partners, and external distribution organizations to expand market reach, improve sales execution, and drive profitable membership growth.
This role serves as a strategic bridge between Sales Leadership, Product, Actuarial, Marketing and Operations to ensure alignment between enterprise priorities and field execution. the Senior Manager will oversee distribution performance, support contract negotiations, drive incentive programs and identify new partnership opportunities that enhance competitiveness in the Dental & vision marketplace.
Success in this role requires strong relationship management skills, deep understanding of broker distribution models, and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders while advancing enterprise growth initiatives.
Required Qualifications
5-7+ years of experience in distribution strategy, broker management, sales leadership, or healthcare/insurance partnerships.
Demonstrated experience managing General Agency brokers, or third-party distribution relationships.
Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze performance metrics and translate insights into growth strategies.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across Sales, Product, Actuarial, and Operations.
Provider negotiation and relationship management skills.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Dental and Vision insurance markets including Small Group and Individual segments.
Experience designing or managing broker incentive programs, distribution contracts, or growth initiatives.
Familiarity with quoting platforms and sales enablement tolls that support broker workflows.
Experience working with national or regional General Agency (GA) distribution models.
Strategic mindset with ability to identify new market opportunities and drive adoption of enterprise initiatives.
Education
Bachelor's degree/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.
Master's degree (MBA or similar) preferred
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
