Job Summary

Responsible for contributing in project teams, troubleshooting operational issues, providing technical solutions to operational problems, new product implementation, implementing existing products and services and the overall upkeep and maintenance of designated areas of engineering. Acts in compliance with industry and Company technical requirements, standards, policies and procedures. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.

Core Responsibilities

 

At least 3 years of experience in IT operations,Major incidents with a focus on incident management.

Proven experience managing major incidents in a fast-paced and complex environment
Previous experience in a similar
environment - especially in Incident/Problem but also in other ITIL processes as Change management
Possess ITIL Certification already
Willingness to work on shifts and on call
Strong experience in using Service Now and Service Desk
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.

Proactive mindset and ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Understanding of ITIL and key service management functions and their responsibilities: Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release, Service Delivery

Strong written and verbal communication, confidence to work across multitude of technology types, often whilst under time constraint and pressure. Can consider the audience and tailor smart communications in a consistently effective manner.

Your style and methods, getting the best out of all colleagues across Sky required to successfully deliver.

Skills, motivation and aptitude to perform in a high profile, fast paced environment, driving virtual teams, Short notice requests, as well as multiple initiatives all at once.
