At eBay, we're more than a global ecommerce leader — we’re changing the way the world shops and sells. Our platform empowers millions of buyers and sellers in more than 190 markets around the world. We’re committed to pushing boundaries and leaving our mark as we reinvent the future of ecommerce for enthusiasts.

Join a team of passionate thinkers, innovators, and dreamers — and help us connect people and build communities to create economic opportunity for all.
At Tise, we’re on a mission to create the world’s best second-hand marketplace — where sustainability, culture, and commerce come together in a way that feels modern, meaningful, and fun.
We are entering a decisive stage in our growth. Now part of eBay, we are scaling faster, collaborating across a larger organization, and adding more structure while protecting what makes Tise special.
To support this, we’re hiring a Chief of Staff to work closely with our COO across execution, coordination, and company alignment.
This role is primarily focused on strengthening execution, structure, and analytical rigor across the organization as we scale.
This role is for someone who enjoys understanding how a company works — and improving how it runs.
You will work across teams and topics wherever clarity, structure, or momentum is needed.
Much of the work is analytical and structuring: framing complex problems, preparing decision material, and turning discussions into clear conclusions and actions.
Some is operational: driving initiatives forward and removing friction.
Some is people-focused: strengthening communication, culture, and shared direction.
A key part of the role is making complex topics easy to understand — through clear documentation and well-structured presentations.
You will:
Prepare decision documents, analysis, and presentations
Support the COO in translating strategic priorities into clear operational plans
Write internal updates, summaries, and communication material
Drive cross-functional initiatives
Help leadership turn priorities into concrete actions
Follow up on goals and commitments across teams
Support strategy and planning cycles for Tise management
Help maintain and evolve Tise culture as we grow
You will often step into undefined or cross-cutting problems and bring structure, clarity, and momentum where ownership or direction is unclear.
Teams understand priorities and direction
Decisions happen earlier and with better context
Important initiatives keep moving
Leaders spend more time on the highest-impact work
Information flows clearly across the company
The COO and leadership team operate with increased clarity, rigor, and decision velocity
You likely have around 5 years of experience in consulting, operations, strategy, or similar roles where you’ve worked across partners and topics.
You move naturally between analysis and execution — you break down problems, form an opinion, and help make the solution happen.
You care about clarity, and people rely on your documents and presentations to understand context, decisions, and direction.
We believe you have:
Strong analytical and structuring ability
Excellent written communication and presentation skills
Clear verbal communication
High EQ and partner awareness
Ability to create progress without formal authority
Curiosity for how businesses operate end-to-end
A practical, hands-on mindset
Sound judgment and discretion
Comfort operating in ambiguity and stepping into problems without predefined ownership
The confidence to challenge assumptions and senior stakeholders constructively
A company with real cultural and environmental relevance
A broad role with insight into how the whole business operates
The chance to help shape how we scale inside a global organization
A values-driven culture at our Oslo HQ
