JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Good understanding of Gas Turbine Engine Systems, Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul requirements.
• Good understanding of components – working principle/Assembly/Disassembly, Installation/removal procedures.
• Good knowledge in technical information development through Arbor text Editor with STE rules & guidelines.
• Good knowledge in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T) and to read/interpret/decode Engineering Drawings/Schematics & Layouts.
• Competent knowledge of components fit form and function both in piece part and assembly level.
• Good knowledge of Gas turbine service and repair techniques.
• Contribute to the development of product data support strategy.
• Maintain and develop relationships with internal customers to assist the achievement of business targets.
• Develop and implement improvements in tools, methods, and processes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Develop documentation in Simplified Technical English (STE) that meets OEM standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed database of reference materials, including research, tests and design specifications.
• Evaluate current content and develop innovative methods for improvement

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering/Aeronautical Engineering from a reputed Institution.
• Experience: 3 – 5 years maximum of relevant experience in Turbomachinery (Gas Turbines/Turbo Compressors) preferably in Oil & Gas/Energy/Aviation industry.
• Have an ability to interpret large volumes of complex technical data.
• Have customer focus and experience in a customer facing environment with a proven record of delivering technical solutions and improvements working to processes and procedures.
• Excellent written, verbal communications and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in the English language is required.
• Experience in coordinating/interacting with Global Stakeholders/customers.
• Advantageous to know about gas turbines and industrial equipment, project management and overhaul/manufacturing techniques.
