JOB OBJECTIVE:

Engineer with a wide professional experience in the design of complex hardware and software architectures.
The role involves the design, development, testing, and evaluation of both hardware and software systems for embedded systems, in particular for equipment that are certified Safety Integrity Level ( SIL) following the Cenelec standard. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the final objectives and deliverables are met in line with costs and time constraints.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Analyze, design, coordinate, and supervise the development of hardware and software systems.
•    Translate system specifications into hardware and software design and requirements.
•    Develop new projects and analyze current projects to improve cost-effectiveness.
•    Write, edit, test, and debug new programs and hardware designs.
•    Document code and hardware design consistently throughout the development process.
•    Utilize tools and equipment for programming and hardware debugging.
•    Communicate with system engineers, technical support staff, and suppliers.
•    Provide assistance to the people for Validation & Verification product to determine system problems.
•    Maintain strong interactions with external supplier for hardware and software

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
•    Advanced Programming Skills: Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages
•    Operating Systems: Experience with multiple operating systems, including Windows and Linux.
•    Configuration Management: Knowledge of software configuration management tools such as GIT and Jira. Proficiency in configuration tools for Hardware like Product Data Management (PDM).
•    Requirements Management: Familiarity with requirements management tools like Polarion.
•    Hardware Development: Experience in hardware project development.
•    Hardware Design Tools: Knowledge of circuit diagram tool for hardware design ( OrCad/Mentor).
•    FPGA Design: Preferred experience in FPGA design.
•    Safety Standards: Familiarity with CENELEC standards (EN 50126, EN 50129, EN 50128).
•    System Architecting: Competencies in architecting safety-critical systems hardware and software
•    Additional Software Skills: Desired knowledge in Linux OS, Mathlab, Simulink and Autocad.
•    Experience: At least 10 years of experience
•    Languages: Italian mother tongue; excellent knowledge of the English language (spoken and written) is required
•    Academic Background: Master’s Degree Telecomunication/Computer/Electronic Engineering
