GCG is seeking Customer Service Representatives skilled in the delivery of value to our customers and stakeholders by providing an outstanding customer experience and assisting in the delivery of effective customer service procedures.

Requirements:

  • Deliver a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude whilst handling customers at all times and in accordance with company and airline standards.

  • Prepare and equip counter for check-in functions and check all systems and ensure serviceable prior to check-in.

  • Perform all check-in, verification, security and gate functions related to travelling customers in adherence with company and airline procedures and standards.

  • Prepare and compile passenger and baggage statistics for flights and ensure information is passed to the Operations department in a timely manner.

  • Arrange hotel bookings and/or re-allocation of passengers on other airlines in cases of overbooking, delayed or cancelled flights.

  • Manage relationships with the customers and ensure their satisfaction with the products and services of the company.

  • Provide specialized service to special needs passengers such as those who are disabled, travelling with young children, traveling alone etc.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of five (5) CXC passes, including Mathematics and English Language.

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar position or in the Service Industry.

  • Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Knowledge of the airline and/or ground handling service is desired.

  • A valid driver’s license.

  • A valid Police Certificate of Character.

  • Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced, team-focused, multifaceted environment,

  • Ability to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within your team.

  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate customer operations.

  • Strong administrative, organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

  • Ability to manage in intense periods with calm and understanding.
