Opportunity

As Head of Product you’ll work closely with our CEO and CTO to define the product strategy, and be responsible for executing on our roadmap, and leading the product team. You’ll be a member of Databook’s R&D leadership team and report to the CTO. This role is based in Palo Alto, offering a mixture of in-person and remote work.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing expert-level domain expertise in sales, finance and strategy - you are passionate about the intersection of these three domains
  • Listen to our customers and partners, to develop a deep understanding of their needs and our core market (enterprise sales and marketing)
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Value and Engineering leadership to develop a product vision and strategy that builds on our leading Enterprise Customer Intelligence platform
  • Communicate our product goals and roadmap to customers, team members, and partners, to unite everyone around our strategy
  • Prioritize our product roadmap into phased release cycles, prioritizing the initiatives that can truly make an impact for our business
  • Lead, build and develop our high performing Product and Design team to execute on our roadmap in a fast-moving environment
  • Pioneer the processes and team structures that we need to scale product capabilities as we grow
  • Recruit, hire and retain outstanding product and design talent

About You

We are looking for an experienced product leader, who has helped to scale fast-growing enterprise or B2B SaaS start-ups before. 

  • You’ll have considerable product experience (10+ years), including at least three years in a product leadership role (e.g. at the Sn Director+ level)
  • You’ll have an excellent understanding of SaaS software, the CRM market and what is needed to build successful products for enterprise customers
  • You’ll have developed compelling product visions and made strategic decisions about new markets, new products and features to increase growth and improve customer experience
  • You’ll be comfortable collaborating throughout our organization and with stakeholders at all levels at our customers
  • You’ll be adept at making difficult strategic decisions, with incomplete information and many competing priorities
  • You’ll be experienced at transforming strategy into action and partnering with our engineering and design teams to execute on our product roadmap
  • You have a passion for company building and an ambition to build a $100m+ business
  • You’ll have a track record of developing the processes and hiring the talent needed to build a world-class product organization 
  • You’ll have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, to help collaboration with teammates and customers, both remotely and in person

Experience and knowledge of enterprise sales, account-based marketing and value-based selling are important.
