Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management and execution of DEI programs, ensuring alignment with Micron's strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies to promote DEI initiatives internally and externally.
  • Design and produce engaging, inclusive graphic content for various media platforms, including digital, print, and social media.
  • Coordinate and manage DEI events, from planning stages to execution, including logistics, vendor management, and post-event analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance DEI efforts and ensure cohesive branding and messaging.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of DEI programs and communications, using data to drive improvements and innovations.
  • Maintain a current understanding of DEI best practices and emerging trends to keep Micron at the forefront of inclusivity in the tech industry.
  • Provide support for other DEI projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented approach.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Event Management, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in program management, communications, or event planning, preferably with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
  • Strong graphic design skills, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design software.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective communication and marketing strategies.
  • Experience in managing corporate events, from small workshops to large-scale conferences.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team and with diverse groups of people.
  • A strong commitment to the principles of diversity, equality, and inclusion demonstrated through work experience, college activities, or other relevant experiences.
