Job Description:
SCOPE :
Responsible for preparation and input of monthly journal entries, reconciliation of cash accounts, fixed asset management and preparation of monthly financial statements. Provide financial analysis, perform special projects. Responsible for managing finances and developing financial statements. This position also requires directly related experience in business accounting/finance and knowledge of accounting principles.
FUNCTIONS:
1. Assist in the month-end closing of the accounting records in order to provide management with financial statements by the 10th business day of the month.
2. Independently perform bank statement reconciliations of cash and investment accounts and reconcile other GL accounts.
3. Analyze patient accounts receivables.
4. Calculate and execute payment of physician professional service fees, physician payrolls and bonus payments.
5. Assist in preparation and input of annual budgets.
6. Assist with preparation of requested information for the interim and annual audits.
7. Responsible for the month-end closing of the accounting records.
8.Calculates Doctors fees and maintains a schedule of doctors fees.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
Minimum 1-2 years of accounting experience.
Working knowledge of Great Plains accounting software and Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
Should be familiar with General Ledger accounting and financial statement preparation.
