Responsibilities and Duties
- We seek experienced high-performing software quality engineers for positions involving quality assurance and manual test for telecom application solutions;
- You will join a highly skilled team delivering a highly automated test process and deployment process supporting internal deployments and customer deployments;
- Activities Work in a dynamic team to provide quality assurance for complex architectures including:
- Create test plans and related infrastructure to validate features and fixes and triage issues found using your Linux, networking, database data handling and other skills;
- Review, analyze, and supplement requirement specifications, and ensure maximum test coverage;
- Participate actively in the development phases, fostering a culture of collaboration;
- Participate in technical discussions and/or digest requirement from product/development teams;
- Interact with Software Development team in order to complete ticket cycles;
- Analyze system and applications and propose test strategy;
- Report/Monitor/Verify issues in defect tracking tool (JIRA);
- Create Test Cases and execute manual tests;
- Work in a dynamic, collaborative, and transparent environment where talent is valued over a role title.
Essential Skills - Knowledge/experience in Linux as a power user;
- Knowledge in basics of computer networking (TCP/UDP, TLS, SSH, HTTP, HTTPS, Firewall, NAT, etc.);
- Knowledge/experience in Agile development using Scrum or Kanban Methodology.
Highly Desirable Skills - Knowledge/experience in distributed cloud architecture (AWS);
- Knowledge/experience in managing CI/CD environments such as Jenkins.
Additional Skills - Knowledge/experience in Telecommunications;
- Knowledge/experience in GIT;
- Scripting language experience is a plus.
