What impact you'll make?
The Aero Equipment Cash FP&A Analyst will be responsible for driving the accuracy and fidelity of ITR, Pole and region cash flow statements and metrics for both closing and forecasting process. The role will be part of the Gas Power Cash COE team & will focus on driving world class FP&A results & Implementation of key finance priorities, supporting Gas Power CEO/CFO reports and analytics, working capital forecasting & analytics, & process improvements. This position reports to the Billing & Collections Leader.
Job Description
What you’ll do
- Actively coordinate with regions and Aero New Units Project Finance Teams on collections estimate for forecasting sessions (MOR, Early Read, Budget) and consolidate Aero global equipment construct.
- Support annual budget, forecasting, & strategy cycles in close coordination with the Aero ITR
- Uses business knowledge, technical experience, and analytical thinking to translate complex data dynamics into estimates and KPIs leveraged by GE Leadership to manage cash more efficiently.
- The role expects to drive modification of procedures and practices covering work while improving end results standards (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).
- Champion standard work efforts: This individual will play a critical role in establishing and prioritizing the “services and products” for financial planning and reporting, including developing standard processes and tools for the different FP&A cycles
- Cross-functional engagement: This individual will play a critical role in increasing the connectivity of financial forecasts, including actuals, next-quarter outlook, and forecasts are aligned with the business lines, fulfillment centers and commercial organization.
- Independently drive projects and processes improvements within Cash COE team, while being a team player to support broader Gas Power initiatives. Drive Lean projects for cash, identify automation opportunities and work with HQ and pole to implement them.
- Determine risk and opportunities on Cash for period and actively partner regions on delivering the construct.
- Monitor, estimate and drive Past Due, Paid-on-Time Metrics for Aero Equipment and drive improvement actions collectively working with Pole / Regional leaders.
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college in Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline
Significant experience in FP&A, Operational Finance
Support key finance priorities and transformation initiatives, embedding best‑in‑class cash management practices
Strong experience in finance leadership roles
Fluent English knowledge is essential
Strong analytical, project management and organizational skills
Proficient oral and written communication skills
What will make you stand out
- Deep understanding of financial reporting systems and US GAAP accounting related to Cash Flow.
- Familiarity with Gas Power accounting models (CSA contracts, overtime projects, point in time)
- Advance Excel skills, Proficiency in Cash Planning & Tools (Workiva, VPLAN, VReporting, SmartView)
- Proficient oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Ability to collaborate across a global organization
- Experience with driving process simplification
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize under pressure
- Strategic thinker with the ability to create and execute concrete action plans
