Job Summary

This role is part of our dynamic team, helping implement CI/CD and DevOps best practices to improve the development lifecycle, speed up deployment, and enhance our observability. This role will gain hands-on experience with cloud environments, automation, and tooling, collaborating with senior engineers to make impactful contributions to our infrastructure.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Azure-based monitoring (Application Insights, Log Analytics) to ensure the health and stability of our CI/CD systems.
  • Write and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines to automate integration and deployment processes.
  • Learn and work with a wide range of build tools, frameworks, and languages: Java, Python, TypeScript, .NET, Angular.
  • Work with Powershell and YAML to support our internal tooling and automation efforts.
  • Gain experience in both local and cloud-based development environments, debugging and testing features.
  • Drive the automation of product deployments and help streamline our CI/CD workflows.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in a shell language like Bash or PowerShell.
  • Passion for technology, a strong desire to learn, and intellectual curiosity.
  • Interest in or familiarity with DevOps practices and principles.
  • Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
  • Experience or familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate in a remote team setting, with excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Working conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment or remotely.  This role routinely uses general office equipment. 

Physical requirements

  • Ability to communicate clearly and exchange accurate information constantly.
  • Constantly operates computer, keyboard, copy machine, phone, and other general office equipment.
  • Ability to occasionally move objects up to 10 lbs.
