POSITION: Guest Services Agent – Full-time

Summary

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a full-time Guest Services Agent for ASM Global/Mountain America Expo Center. Under the guidance of the Guest Services Manager, the Full-Time Guest Services Agent is responsible for guest services events, client move in and move out, ticket taking, and event patrolling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures the safety and protection of attendees and staff within the venue.
  • Supervise client/exhibitor move in and move out safety.
  • Enforces all venue regulations and procedures under the direction of Guest Services.
  • Ticket taking for attending patrons for events.
  • Enforces event guests and exhibitors entry and exit directions.
  • Helps maintain event surveillance of the venue.
  • Uses and monitors multi-channel radio and communication system to relay event information.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Experience & Knowledge

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Prior security experience preferred.
  • Good customer service skills, including telephone etiquette, email, and text communications.
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and customer service oriented.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage self independently.
  • Ability to interact with people on all levels such as management, co-workers, clients, exhibitors, and attendees.

Job Type: On-Site Full-time

Wage: $17-20/hour depending on experience

Schedule: Event driven – Sunday through Saturday. Event hours posted as requested.

Subject to sustained periods of time with exposure to the elements with adverse conditions. May require tools and equipment operation that could cause personal harm and/or injury if improperly handled. Requires irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, determined by event schedule and/or department needs. Requires radio usage, two-way handheld.
