What this job involves:

As an Art Director at JLL, you will drive the creative vision and strategic design direction for our Work Dynamics and Sales Enablement Design Center of Excellence. This role empowers you to shape a brighter way for our clients through innovative visual storytelling and exceptional design leadership. You'll guide the development of sophisticated sales materials, strategic communications, and client-facing initiatives that elevate JLL's market presence while fostering a culture of collaboration within your design team. Working with cross-functional partners globally, you'll translate complex business objectives into compelling visual narratives through presentations, proposals, infographics, and multimedia content. At JLL, we embrace more innovative ways of working, and you'll champion creative excellence while mentoring junior designers and driving continuous innovation within established brand guidelines. This position reports to the Senior Director and requires both hands-on design expertise and strategic art direction capabilities to deliver solutions that are on brief, on time, and aligned with ambitious business goals.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Lead creative brainstorming sessions with client teams to develop key messaging strategies and provide thought leadership for complex visual communication challenges

• Provide art direction and creative oversight for sophisticated PowerPoint presentations, proposals, and marketing materials that incorporate advanced animations, transitions, and interactive elements

• Direct video and motion graphics projects from concept to completion, managing technical requirements, platform optimization, and innovative storytelling approaches

• Partner with global Sales and Pursuit teams to understand business objectives and translate them into compelling visual solutions that strengthen client relationships

• Mentor and develop junior designers by providing constructive feedback, technical guidance, and creative direction to build team capabilities

• Collaborate with department management and senior leadership to align creative strategies with business goals and brand standards

• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards while maintaining exceptional client service across multiple concurrent initiatives

• Drive innovation within brand guidelines by exploring new design techniques, technologies, and creative approaches that differentiate JLL in the marketplace

• Oversee the creation of custom graphic elements and branded deliverables that visually capture complex real estate concepts and market insights

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Art, Design, Visual Communications, or related field

• Minimum 8-10 years of graphics and design experience, preferably in corporate or professional services environment

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated expertise in presentation design

• Proven leadership experience in design team management, creative direction, and cross-functional collaboration

• Strong video editing, motion graphics, and digital media production capabilities

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for engaging with multi-level stakeholders and client teams

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments while maintaining high quality standards

• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational and project management skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Socialive, Descript, or similar video production and collaboration platforms

• Background in real estate, commercial property, or professional services industry

• Knowledge of emerging design technologies, AR/VR applications, or interactive media development

• Experience working with global, distributed teams and virtual collaboration tools

• Portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking and creative problem-solving for complex business challenges

• Certification or advanced training in motion graphics, video production, or digital design specializations
