This role is to ensure that Mondelez is consistently producing safe, high-quality products which meets/exceeds customer expectations that meet Mondelez, federal, state, and local regulatory compliance standards. This role will direct seamless execution of source, product, and process to ensure brand protection for all North America Venture Brands

How you will contribute

You will:

Serve as Mondelēz Quality partner for North America Ventures manufacturing and repacker locations to ensure all Quality and Food Safety expectations are continuously met or exceeded. You will be responsible for working to execute quality, food safety, and regulatory programs within Mondelez and across their manufacturing, packing, and warehousing partners.

Quality Strategy Implementation

  • Responsible for managing day to day Quality strategy execution in partnership with NA Ventures Manufacturers and Repackers

  • Communicate and manage North America Ventures Manufacturing Quality scorecards and achievement of goals

  • Implement Quality initiatives at North America Ventures Manufacturing locations

  • Partner with Supply Chain lead to ensure seamless communication

  • Partner with Corporate Quality commercialization lead and R&D to ensure successful hand-off during new product launches

  • Understand drivers of consumer preference for all products and ensure the Critical To Quality (CTQ) and Critical To Process (CTP) parameters are communicated and managed according to our Manufacturing Standards process.

Consumer Inspired Quality

  • Ensures products are manufactured according to our specifications to meet food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements

  • Facilitate IL6S and the Manufacturing Standards journey at North America Venture Manufacturing Locations

  • Support execution of Consumer Inspired Quality at North America Venture Manufacturing and Repacking locations, including CTPs and CTQs

 On-Going Quality Performance Management

  • Develop North America Venture Manufacturer partnerships, including weekly and monthly reviews and joint continuous improvement planning and issue resolution

  • Ensure facility continues to meet Mondelēz Quality and Food Safety standards

Key activities of this role:

  • Manage and verify Quality Control Management Systems (QCMS)

  • Audit manufacturing control plans for new products and processes 

  • Drive continuous improvement in the areas of Quality Assurance and Food Safety by setting goals and identifying key  performance indicators in this area of the business 

  • Ensures adherence to appropriate regulations and Company standards for quality.

Education / Certifications:

  • B.S. degree in Food Science, Engineering, Microbiology, Chemistry, or other related Sciences

  • Minimum 3+ years related experience (Quality, Supply Chain, Food Safety &/or R&D)

Job specific requirements:

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work

  • Previous roles partnering with external partners 

  • Experience working in a food manufacturing environment.

  • Fundamental understanding of Sanitation, Hygienic Design, Pest Control, Quality, HACCP, and Food Safety principles.

  • Highly proficient computer (MS Office) and Communication skills (Verbal and Written) are required

  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Travel requirements:  Approximately 40%- 50% travel may be required for key project needs

The base salary range for this position is $106,300 to $146,200; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
