Required Qualifications

Education/Certifications/Licenses:

  • Doctoral degree. CCC in Audiology or eligibility for the CCC-A.
  • Eligible for Kansas State Audiology License and Kansas State Hearing Aid License.

Work Experience:

  • One year of recent experience in the provision of clinical tinnitus/hyperacusis evaluation and treatment services.

Preferred Qualifications

Work Experience

  • Four to six years of recent clinical experience.
  • Experience in clinical supervision of audiology graduate students.
  • Experience in graduate classroom instruction.
  • Interest in or experience with auditory processing disorders or traumatic brain injuries

Job Duties

  • Provide clinical audiology services with an emphasis on tinnitus and hyperacusis evaluation and treatment across the lifespan through The University of Kansas Health System Neuroaudiology Clinic.  
  • Clinical provider for The Center on Concussion Management.
  • Coordination of audiology clinical education and field study placements.
  • Direct clinical supervision of audiology graduate students.
  • Provide graduate classroom instruction in area of expertise.
  • Assist with the oversight and maintenance of the clinic.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary activities with other clinical units within the University.
  • Serve as a member of the Intercampus Executive Committee of the KU Intercampus Program in Communicative Disorders (IPCD).
  • Provide other service-related activities (committee/sub-committee/taskforce membership) to the Department, IPCD, and University.
  • Participate in student-assisted research activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
