Position Description
Working with current and prospective clients of the Firm, use your talent to provide technology support to launch implementations, provide training and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for a variety of companies. Learn and grow your credentials by attending professional conferences, obtain certifications to expand your professional knowledge of network administration. 
The Network Infrastructure Engineer will work as a business advisor to provide timely, high quality client service to our mid-market clientele. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills (written and oral), problem solving skills, a strong work ethic, and good client relations. 
Responsibilities include:
  • Designing IT solutions with an emphasis on manufacturer standards and best practices
  • Manage the installation of network infrastructure equipment including switches, routers, wireless, and security appliances at client sites
  • Identifying and escalating cross selling opportunities
  • Establishing rapport and trust with key client decision makers
  • Meet with prospective clients, evaluate needs via technical assessments and deliver appropriate recommendations
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact with external clients
  • Ability to multi-task and manage a variety of projects at once

Required Qualifications

  • Fortinet Certifications: Fortinet NSE 4 (Network Security Professional) or higher is required; NSE 5, NSE 6, or NSE 7 certifications are highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Fortinet products and network infrastructure technologies, including advanced firewall configurations, SDWAN, and VPN.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, including VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS, with a deep focus on Fortinet’s security and networking solutions.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 10% for onsite client engagements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Consulting Experience: Previous IT consulting experience with mid-market clients, particularly in designing and implementing Fortinet-based solutions.
  • Additional Certifications: Other relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNP or Palo Alto PCNSE.
  • Wireless and SD-WAN: Experience with Fortinet Secure SD-WAN and FortiAP wireless solutions.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering exceptional hands-on technical support.
  • Client-Focused: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with external clients and stakeholders.

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $78,600 - $148,500

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
