As we continue to support global growth and expansion, we are seeking a  Director, FP&A to lead the FP&A activities and processes for the company, understanding market trends and the performance of the business, as well as providing insights and managing risks & opportunities. 

Position Summary:
The Director, FP&A is a business leader with experience in financial management, built on excellent problem solving, and cross-group collaboration skills. They will be a hands-on and results-oriented individual who has successfully built and/or transformed financial planning processes and reporting capabilities, ideally with a software subscription business model. The Director, FP&A will be a strong partner to the Accounting function as well as to the management team in driving profitable growth. Primary responsibilities are direct financial responsibility for ensuring accurate and timely completion of financial reports and presentations, including for our investors and lenders, collaborating with key stakeholders on opportunities for continuous improvement, and providing strategy and vision around the financial planning and budgeting processes.  Other responsibilities may be assigned by the CFO to help drive our vision and mission to  alignment with our organization’s values.

Work you’ll do:
In this role, you will 
Lead a collaborative budgeting process that involves department heads, finance teams and key stakeholders, fostering a sense of ownership and accountability, and suggest opportunities for improved efficiency and effectiveness. 

Implement advanced forecasting techniques and tools to enhance the accuracy of revenue and expense projections, adapting quickly to changing market conditions. 

Establish a continuous budget monitoring process, providing real-time insights to enable proactive decision-making and resource allocation adjustments. 

Facilitate regular monthly communication between Finance and functional departments to ensure accurate financial reports and sharing financial results, particularly compared to budgets and forecasts.

Implement a collaborative forecasting approach, encouraging input on key business drivers from various departments to enhance the accuracy of overall financial projections. 

Model strategic and financial plans and M&A scenarios, including pro formas as needed. 

Manage and meet investor reporting, forecasting, and planning requirements and deadlines in coordinate with VP Global Controller. 

Evaluate operational processes and expenses, identifying areas for cost optimization without compromising service quality; collaborate with technology teams to leverage data analytics and automation tools for continuous process improvement. 

Facilitate effective decision-making throughout the organization, providing insightful analysis and support of financial information, including industry and economic considerations, and communicating results. 

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders by identifying, researching, and resolving discrepancies in financial reports, utilizing internal reporting processes, and implementing solutions to improve efficiency of financial operations. 

Support the CFO in preparing presentations for investors, board of directors and other needs.

Assist with M&A activities, including due diligence and integration.

Works closely with department leaders as needed to advise on the optimal way to achieve financial targets as well as assist them in developing budgets and forecasts.

The Team:
The FP&A team may eventually include various staff members but currently the Director role is as an individual contributor/manager, but works closely with financial analysts from our investor.  This role, along with the Accounting and Legal teams, reports to the CFO and will work collaboratively with these teams on a daily or weekly basis to enhance processes, improve financial outcomes, and grow the business value.
