We are looking for a Shift Supervisor to join our beverage can factory in Hämeenlinna.

Shift Supervisor

Shift Supervisor is responsible for organizing the work of the production team and ensuring continuity of the production process. Key responsibilities include overseeing the execution of the production plan, providing technical support, and effectively managing the team. We are looking for individuals with strong organizational, technical, and leadership skills who will actively support employee development and the achievement of operational goals.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise shift operations to achieve production targets while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and internal standards
  • Organize and manage the team, including, task assignment, onboarding, training, performance reviews, and attendance/overtime control
  • Monitor, analyze, and report key production KPIs, shift results, deviations, and improvement opportunities to the Production Manager
  • Ensure continuous and efficient production by coordinating resources, materials, maintenance, and support functions
  • Maintain process and product quality by enforcing procedures, inspecting materials, equipment, and outputs, and initiating corrective actions when required
  • Ensure accurate production, quality, maintenance, and working-time reporting using relevant systems, and perform effective shift handovers
  • Managing breakdown and conversion activities
  • Development of line efficiency and spoilage

Our expectations:

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Supervisory experience from a manufacturing environment,
  • Familiarity with SAP and Office 365,
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken,
