The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Manufacturing and Quality Supervisor you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Plant Leadership Member, contributing to the plant’s safety, quality, service, cost, and people development efforts.
  • Lead Process and Quality Engineering Efforts, working with the engineering team members to identify and complete process and quality improvement projects, using Lean, DMAIC, and CAPA Methodologies.
  • Provide supervision to technical and quality professionals, including objective setting, performance management, training, and coaching.
  • Facilitate the planning and execution of the plants ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System, along with defining a path to meeting and becoming certified to the IATF 16949 Quality Standard.
  • Support growth initiatives and product improvements through the utilization of 3M’s CMP and eNPI processes.
  • Work with outside agencies such as UL and CSA to ensure product compliance to published standards.

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Four (4) years of supervisory and/or management experience in a private, public, government or military environment  
  • Seven (7) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Experience managing and/or supervising direct reports 
  • Certified Quality professional with IATF knowledge and understanding.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership ability and history of leading high-performance teams 
  • Demonstrated understanding of principle-based leadership and behaviors 
  • Experience in leading strategic and organizational development, operational excellence, lean implementation, financial accounting 
  • Effective communication skills

  • Tilton, NH

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international
