Job Summary

As a Technical Architect  (11421), you will be part of a highly skilled technology and agile team by supporting and developing cutting-edge solutions to meet our business requirements. You will help us accelerate our customers' business results by innovating cutting-edge digital products.

Your responsibilities will include leading and actively participating in the design, development, and delivery of our software projects.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Applying a rigorous method to system decomposition.
• Providing technical leadership, mentoring and support to software development teams.
• Helping to design project plans that deliver designs to production on time, on quality and on budget.

Qualifications and Skills

• Graduates in systems, networks or related fields with +5 years of experience.
• Expert in modern cross-platform .NET (version 6 and above).
• Experience of Event Sourcing / CQRS patterns.
• Working knowledge of building Twelve-Factor applications for infrastructure agnostic deployments, e.g. Azure, on-premises, and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience of Azure is desirable.
• Understanding of Asynchronous systems / Eventual Consistency / Message Buses.
• SOA / Micro-service approaches and cost vs count.
• Familiarity with information management practices.
• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
• Knowledge of business re-engineering principles and processes.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, and technical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong modelling capability with the ability to clearly represent complex ideas graphically.
• Familiar with a variety of modelling approaches, tools, and model repositories.
• Beneficial knowledge of Infrastructure As Code (preferably Terraform).
• Strong test automation experience covering unit tests, integration tests, non-functional, contract testing etc.
• Use of various Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery tools preferably GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps.
• Micro-service architectural approaches.
