Leads assigned projects from project initiation to implementation to achieve desired business results. Ensures that a successful business outcome is the prime measure of project success including delivering projects on time, within quality standards and to the satisfaction of the project sponsor.  Accountable to plan, manage, lead and oversee the end-to-end delivery of requirements throughout the lifecycle of the project in alignment with the business and/or enterprise needs and strategies.  Coordinates with the various business and technology partners, and vendors, throughout the various project phases, including initiation, concept, analysis, development, testing and implementation.

  • Ability to manage Large and Complex projects spanning across multiple system applications
  • Ability to manage multiple/simultaneous projects while meeting tight timelines
  • Breaks down strategic problems to provide insights and recommendations on solution.
  • Ability to support new onboarding channel capabilities which require full integration with new vendor
  • Identify potential downstream impacts to other internal systems of vendors, ensuring applicable stakeholders are identified and engaged on the project.
  • Provides guidance to the project sponsor on the implementation and sustainment of projects, resulting in successful project outcomes.
  • Manages all aspects of the project lifecycle.  Ensures all project processes are completed.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, including leading discussions, managing group dynamics, and maintaining group focus, to work towards accomplishing the stated goal(s) of the session within the context of the request objectives.  Executes project requirements in governance frameworks focused on risk appetite, regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Provides project sponsor with advice on the viability of the build/timing on TSYS or G+D throughout the project.
  • Strong understanding of the Vendor Project Methodologies (CLM, TSDM)
  • Documents, reviews, submit, and validate all documentation received from all supplier groups, and communicate applicable information back to leadership, business sponsor and key stakeholders.
  • Understands project interdependencies and demonstrates critical thinking that proactively identifies project risks and establishes effective risk mitigation from the outset.
  • Demonstrates stakeholder partnership that involves effective communicating with the project sponsor; gains and builds trust and rapport.
  • Demonstrates ownership and commitment by holding themselves accountable for the identification and resolution of project problems.
  • Leads and/or represents the CCS team in project team meetings, governance forums and inter-department forums.
  • Adheres to Bank risk, regulatory and compliance controls.
  • Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
  • Works independently on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

  • In depth knowledge of TSYS TS2 system, card management and other peripheral systems
  • Experience with launching new credit card products/co-branded products
  • Experience leveraging digital/application programming interfaces to build real-time communication between platforms
  • High proficiency with integrating complex multi-vendor capabilities/platforms
  • Expert knowledge of TSYS Loyalty Platform and reward lifecycle. 
  • Strong understanding of capabilities on CCS 2.0 Interactive in order to facilitate new statement design
  • Ability to support complex test plan creation, execution, and validation activities
  • Typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • able to work with minimal supervision, contribute to a positive work environment, and manage multiple complex assignments with competing priorities successfully.
  • Strong ability, and proficient in soliciting and gathering business requirements
  • Strong understanding of Card issuance, replacement and design attributes
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to navigate challenging situations effectively with guidance.
  • Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience.

Salary:

$54,500.00 - $101,500.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
