PRIMARY FUNCTION:                       

Primarily responsible for removing debris from the floor and keeps the floor hosed down/clean. Must always use and maintain personal protective equipment, and work in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations. Pay starts at $17.25 per hour along with a $1,500 sign and stay bonus program. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:    
•    Employee keeps floor washed down, washes all machinery and floor at breaks and at lunch
•    Gets ice in vats for the salvage table
•    Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors, coworkers
•    Do all tasks assigned by members of management
•    Must be able to follow directions and work in other departments as needed.
•    Must be able to perform additional duties as assigned.
 

EDUCATION and CERTIFICATIONS: 
•    High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
•    Previous poultry experience preferred 

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
•    Follow Standard Operating Procedures and adhere to safety requirements
•    Must wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
•    PPE required but subject to change:  Hairnet, smock, earplugs, shoe covers.
 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
•    Ability to work in a wet and cold environment (45ºF, 4ºC)
•    Ability to stand for an 8 hour shift
•    Will be exposed to noise (>85 decibels) and moving production
•    Must be able to lift up to 20lbs with an ice shovel
